Trademark
A trademark is a distinctive sign which identifies certain goods or services as those produced or provided by a specific person or enterprise.
The system helps consumers identify and purchase a product or service to meet their needs, because of its nature and quality, indicated by its unique trademark.
Since 1902, Honduras protects trademark rights and is a member of the Paris Convention. According to the new trademark law decree 4-99 of December 02, 1999, the registration of a trademark is valid for a period of ten years and it can be renewed for consecutive 10-year periods.
